Reading for pleasure, at its heart, refers to the reading of a book for pure personal enjoyment. Reading is key to enriching student’s academic journey as well as a direct impact on their personal and professional success in later life. Worryingly, reading for enjoyment levels amongst children and young adults at an all-time low according to recent research by the National Literacy Trust.
